Acorns in Dead Tree
I always like to seek out trees (alive or dead) that have great character. This one I noticed had many pock marks from woodpeckers. Only after I got up close did I notice that the woodpeckers had put acorns in the holes.

Morning Winds
This image has a lot of contrasts for me. Dark and light imagery, death and life, warm and cold, and more than anything stillness in the midst of violent motion.

This area is slowly recovering from one of the several fires that recently threatened the Lake Arrowhead area.
