Thor's Hammer
Normally from this view you would see the rest of what they call the Amphitheater of Bryce but the storm clouds rolled in to fog out the rest of the canyon. From this angle it may not look very mjolnir-y but from the more traditional view of this hoodoo entering the Canyon it does look more like Thor's famous hammer.

Solitary Moment in Bryce Canyon
The one nice thing about hiking in bad weather is it really cuts down on the traffic of fellow hikers on the trail.

One of the things I cherish most about my time in the outdoors is the chance to unplug and unwind from the busy-ness of life. All the pressing tasks and demands are a distant memory for a period of time. My only concern at the moment is to focus on putting one foot in front of the other and getting to my destination. I find I do my best thinking and praying in those moments.
